Water Filter Plant

The SXC has own water filter plant installed at the roof of the building. There are three water filter plants installed at the roof of different buildings in the campus. Each plant filters and purifies water by eliminating pollutants, dangerous contaminants, undesirable chemicals and poisonous substances from the water and make it drinkable for the students and staffs. The purpose of this plant is to produce water that is safe and fit for human consumption, and eliminates the chances of any waterborne disease.

The rejects water from the plant is used for gardening and washing purposes. This plant not only facilitates the supply of safe drinking water but also obviates the otherwise involved huge expenditure for procuring drinking water for the large number of students in the campus. The college is independent in the provision of our own drinking water.

The plants filter and store water in the water tank each of which has capacity of 2000 litres. There are aroung 5 Water Filter ATMs installed at the different places in the college campus. These ATMs also provide filter and purify RO drinking water.
