Library e-Resources

e-Resources are materials available in digital format and can be accessed electronically using Computers, Tabs, Smart Phones etc. Examples of e-Resources are e-Books, e-Journals, e-dissertations, e-News, e-Discussions, e-Mails, Images, Audios, Videos, Animations, Graphics, e-Databases, e-Magazines etc.

The following e-resources may be accessed by both the staffs and the students of St. Xavier's College only with a valid login credential such as Username and Password. If you do not have one, kindly approach the Library Office.

INFLIBNET : Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) centre is an autonomous Inter-University Centre of the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. It was initiated by the UGC in March 1991 as a project under the IUCAA and became an independent Inter-University Centre in June 1996. National Digital Library of India (NDLI) : Ministry of Human Resource Development under its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology has initiated the National Digital Library (NDL) pilot project to develop a framework of virtual repository of learning resources with a single-window search facility. It is being developed to help students to prepare for entrance and competitive examination, to enable people to learn and prepare from best practices from all over the world and to facilitate researchers to perform inter-linked exploration from multiple sources.
