Non-Teaching Staff Association

Non-teaching staff members contribute in creating an atmosphere that is helpful in fulfilling academic needs in the college. They have wide range of tasks concerning to administrative, operational as well as maintenance. Their contribution is essential in creating an environment conducive to effective teaching and learning process.

Non-teaching staff association came into existence in 1995. The principal objective of this association is to regulate relation between staff and management of the college. The association serves as a platform for social interaction among staffs by organizing welcome, farewell and other programmes. The association helps the college authority in the smooth functioning of the college, maintenance of the office as well as discipline in the college campus.

The President, Secretary, Treasure and other members of committee are elected every two years by open polling for the smooth functioning of the association. It is non-political body established under the Act 24 of 1973 of the Parliament for maintaining better relationship through mutual respect, co-operation and understanding between the authorities, the teachers and the non-teaching staff of the Institution.

Objectives:

1. Strengthen the relationship among the non-teaching staff.
2. Strengthen the relationship between staff and management.
3. Motivate the staff members to attain the highest possible standards of performance in their assignments.
4. Encourage the members to carry out official decision and policies faithfully.
5. Supervision of the general cleanliness of the college campus.
6. Act timely to redress the genuine grievances of staffs.
