Campus Clinic

The SXC is concerned for the well-being of each student and staff when they are in the college campus. As such one of the service that college provides is an on-campus health clinic that meets the normal day to day health needs of students and staff. The college has a well equipped clinic with basic facilities and medical staff. The students and staffs can avail the primary medical facility during the college timing.

Facility for intravenous drips, injection and glucose are available in the clinic for patients of giddiness, fever, vomiting and dehydration. Dressing facility for small and minor cut injuries, and stiching facility for major cut injuries are also done in the campus clinic itself. One to three doses of medicines are given free of cost to the students and staffs. All cases of injuries and accidents are given first aid in the clinic before referring them to nearby hospital.

The clinic has two bedded sick room for the rest and recovery of medically sick and injured students. The clinic also has two wheel chairs and stretchers to bring sick and injured students / staffs to the campus clinic to provide necessary medical or first aid treatment. These medical transportation equipments are very useful during the games and sports activities to transport injured players easily to the campus clinic. As a result, the college is able to provide immediate medical assistance to students in case of an emergency.

The overall objective of campus clinic is to enhance the overall productivity of students, teaching and non-teaching staff by ensuring good health by providing basic medical care and counselling to the students and staffs.
